Skate the Lake

Another Outdoor Ed trip has been planned. Thursday, the 14th we will be traveling by bus to Crescent lake in Portage to skate the trails, play pond hockey and jam pail curl. Cost for the trip is $5 for the bus. We are planning to stop at McDonald's for supper on the way home. We are leaving MES at 3:15pm will be home at approx. 7:15pm. Notes are due on the 12th, and available in the office.

Busy, Busy, Busy

There are lots of activities going on at MES these days. Please refer frequently to the school's webpage and check out the calendar. Many of the events are posted on this calendar. Basketball, Curling, and Trivia night to name a few.

New year, new units!

For the start of 2019 we will be beginning new units in both Science and SS. In Science we will be taking a look at electricity and the different energy sources available for use around the world. Major conflicts around the world and the consequences of these battles will be examined in SS.

Wow, the first part of the year has really gone quickly! Wishing everyone a fun, restful and safe holiday. Take the time to enjoy family and friends. Looking forward to the next segment of the school year.

Farm to School Orders

Farm to School Orders are due Monday, Dec 10th. This is a great fundraiser for our school, the money helps fund student activities and trips. Thanks for your support.

North Norfolk Christmas Hamper

Once again MES is happy to support the North Norfolk Christmas Cheer Board. We are looking for non- perishable food items to donate to this worthy cause. Students are welcome to bring in their donations any time this week.

Christmas Shoe Boxes at MES

Operation Christmas Child has once again arrived at MES. Our class is focusing on collecting material for a boy and a girl between 10 to 12 years old. Liquids or anything that may break and cause a mess are not accepted. Pens, pencils, notepads, t shirts or balls are accepted. The boxes will be picked up on Nov 15th to ensure time for shipping to the receiving country. Thanks for any and all donations.
