Today we had a visitor at school, he taught us the finer points of composting. Kurt Bueckert is an environmental officer and had lots of information to share with us about carbons and nitrogens and how to use them effectively in a compost. He had some examples of each to show us and then we went outside and put a batch of compost in our tumbler.
