MES has registered to take part in the bag up challenge. Throughout the month of October students are asked to recycle all types of plastic bags to help keep the plastic bags out of our landfill sites and environment. The bags collected are used to create useable items such as birdhouses, park benches and garden boxes.
Students are to bring bags they have collected into school on Oct 17th and Oct 30th. The bags will be counted and packaged to be sent away. MES has the opportunity to win a new recycled park bench.
